Or send us an email to welcome@training4lgv.co.uk to register your interest. We'll send you all the forms you need to get started.

  2. Arrange for Medical, and have the D4 form signed by the doctor.

Not all NHS Doctors/GPs will carry out Driving Medicals, and prices can vary at different surgeries. We can send you a list of participating doctors in your area.

  3. Complete Application form for Large Goods Vehicle and send both forms to:

    Vocational Licence Section
    Driver and Licence Section
    SA99 1BR
You will also need to exchange your old paper licence for a photocard if you haven't already.

  4. Book Module 1 'Theory Test' (£35), and 'Hazard Perception' (£15) with the DSA.

We recommend the Official DSA LGV Theory Test and Hazard Preception books, available from any good bookstore, or online from Amazon by clicking these links:
The Official DSA Theory Test for Drivers of Large Vehicles 2008/09 Edition (Book)

  5. Study for and book Module 2 'CPC Case Study' with the DSA (£35).

  6. Contact Dynamic LGV on completion of Modules 1 and 2.

  7. Dynamic LGV will book Module 3 'Driving Test' and arrange training.

  8. Undergo LGV Training and successfully pass the practical driving test (£115).

  9. Study for and pass Module 4 'Vehicle Safety Demonstration'.

  10. Congratulations - You are now a fully-qualified LGV Driver!
